Flushing Durso.....

I have my 100 setup and pumping but the durso is flushing. I have read fixes in the past but need a refresher in how to fix it. it is 1 1/4 down to 1 and I have a 1/4" airline tube that I am moving up and down in the water flow to stop if rom happening. What do I do to fix the flushing?

Slow ur return pump down just until it stops the flush

Stick some tubing down the pipe, the size tubing used to siphon when you vacuum the tank will work. This was one of the most valued pieces of advice I'd ever gotten, was ready to throw my tank out because of the noise

It'll quiet down on it's own once the biolayer build up on the inside of the plumbing pipes

Got the pump backed off and it stopped flushing. Thank goodness for the gate valve I installed on the return side. Must have gotten that tip from someone on this board too... I promise to post pics as soon as I get some batteries for the camera.... Lame excuse I know...

I had the same problem, Until a member and good friend told me what to do. LoL. Glad it fixed ur problem

I had the same problems with my setup and dialing back the flow helped. What is the recommended depth under water for the drain in the sump?

Still having some issues when my mp40s switch back and forth in nutrient transport mode. BTW which mode should I be using during my cycle?
