It's looking great. I've been looking in to nanos and I think you've got a great example there. What hardware are you running that didn't come with the kit? I see a single powerhead but is there anything else you've added to get the results you are?

Thank you. Running an aqua knight light, fluval ps2 skimmer, intank madia rack in second chamber, hydor 180 pico and another 40gph pump for circulation. Light and pumps came from the 6.25g it replaced. I enjoy the simplicity. No dosing, dont change the water often (hopefully @futureinterest doesn't jinx me lol). I do a 25-30% every 3-4 weeks when I remember. Pic of old tank

I forgot, I add 2ml of Aquavitro Fuel once a week and randomly add phyto. I feed Reef Roids 1-2 times a week, mainly spot feed the acans and duncan. the euphylia and gonis dont seem to like being fed.

I've just not seen long term success without water changes unless they use calcium reactors or triton to keep the trace elements up to par. Your doing something right as that tank looks awesome!

Just kidding ofcourse. I haven't had any major issues so far with this maintenance schedule. Sure there's a bit of cyano, but that can be managed with a Turkey baster. If I see any sign of issues, I will change my strategy. I think also has to do with the corals that are in the tank. They all like their water a bit "dirty"

But, now with all these acans, might have to keep an eye on calcium. May just do kalk in the ato.

Really like the look of this tank. Do you think a skimmer is absolutely necessary for this tank? I have been contemplating whether or not to add one to my Biocube.

I like skimmers. I had a biocube with a skimmer as well. One of these : Skimmer. Had it in the input chamber on an eggcrate base. The suction cups don work well in the biocubes. Pulled some nice skimmate

Still pissed of, but found a piece of iron man acan to go with the Incredible hulk acan. Nemo aquarium always has some cool stuff.
