Big Ocean Nutrition Pellet Fan here. I feed Formula One and Two to my SW fish, and my 25 FW Discus were raised on Formula One as a part of every day feeding. The ingredients are pretty impressive, and light years beyond most commercial foods made for FW fish.
I think Spectrum is a good food as well, however. I had the pleasure of meeting the Founder of Spectrum a few years ago, Pablo Tepoot. He wrote one of the standard required readings in planted aquarium books.
I'll probably pick up some Spectrum next time I'm out and see how my fishies like it as well.
But Jesse is right, pretty subjective. Try both and see how your charges respond to each.
