$1.99 a can? man your using the cheap stuff.

FYI: brake cleaner is exactly the same stuff the dry cleaner uses to get stains out of your good cloths. a friend whos a auto tech told me that. his wife owns a drycleaners up big canoe area.

If it's been in there this long, he's probably in the rock dead. They won't tolerate that salinity for very long. Either that, or like Ralph said,he's not in that rock at all.

Yep, it's labeled as dry cleaning solvent. In the Marines, you'll find 55 gallon drums of it in all the motor pools and maintenance shops. They use it as parts cleaners.

...and if I had a cheaper hobby, I'd use better brake cleaners...lol.

hey if ya ever need the good stuff i can get ya as much as you need hackman. you would be suprised at what i have just settin around.

yea after looking in the bucket this morning nothing can tolerate that high salinity it looks like a nuke went off in the bucket there are prob a million dead creatures no worm im going to hammer it open i want to be 100% sure i got him out ide say im 90% sure its in that rock. after seeing it last night grab a sea hare that about the size of a pear and try to pull it down a hole im pretty sure its been killing other things in my tank for a long time i just wanna be sure i got that creepy little bas****

alt="" />Incidentally, a few nights ago on another night dive, we found and played with a couple of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobbit_worm">bobbit worms ([I]Eunice aphroditois)…a nocturnal, predatory polychaete worm.
I first sought out and photographed these scary animals about a decade ago in Secret Bay, Bali. We stayed up most of the night, diving in dark, cold waters to observe bobbit behaviour.
At night, these worms lie in wait with their trap-like jaws wide open, hoping for fish or other unsuspecting prey to wander by. In one instance, I watched a bristle worm wander near a bobbit…only to be sliced into three pieces in the blink of an eye.
Bobbit worms have five sensory appendages on their heads, which probably detect nearby movement.
When something wanders too close, the worms lunge out and their jaws snap shut. The worms then drag prey completely into the ground…to consume their meals in the privacy of their subterranean lairs. Yuck.

I was going to ask what a Bobbit worm was - but somebody beat me to it.

I'm thinking it's the same as a Eunicid worm?
