found a bobbit worm in my aquarium

I don't ever want to deal with one of those things. Was it alive in the rock after the high salinity soak? Just curious how tough they are.

that was really big i bet he ate well too

it was in water about 1.045 for 16 hours and upon removal it was barely moving so i put it in a 2 gal with normal water conditions and it has slowly starting recover i think it will live, it goes crazy when you shine light on it now i dont know what to do with it i may just flush it

Tough little boogers. Be careful just flushing it. If they're that tough, I'd hate for you to sit down for a restroom break and get a surprise to the behind...:lol2:

i dont think max would like a worm like that. those shrimp are fun to watch. got the sump running with no problem everything fit perfect and i saved alot of money on the aquarium buy switching to used parts thanks ARC

the cat is maximus he is a bengal cat he is about half the size (17 lbs) its a hybrid between an asian leopard and a domestic tabby

wow, i looked at that link. to think we have things just like that in our body too. just as big, but dont know it.
