Just came home to find this guy crawling up the glass? I have searched google but was unable to find one. And one know if he is safe in the reef? Thanks for any info.

Far more defined limbs than any asterina I've seen (in my whole 2 years in the hobby). I'd still keep an eye out for damage and any more of em.

I was thinking the same thing. The ones in my tank that everyone says are asterina don't have a body that well defined at all.
 
I agree, too defined to be an Asterina. I checked http://www.chucksaddiction.com/hitchstars.html">[B]this page[/B]</a> but don't really see anything there which resembles yours.

Probably best to just get a Valentini Puffer and see if it'll eat it. :tongue:
 
It does resemble an asterina. But have never seen one that big and was like what the crap is that. He's a fast sucker cause I walked into the bedroom for 3 minutes and returned to him being gone.
