Ok I only want 1 tang in my tank, so I was thinking about a fowleri tang. My tank is 4 long and 120 gallons. I have several wrasses (5). I know my tank is on the small size but if I started with a small one...
Well any thoughts or advice?

Stretch your tank out to 8' and you will be good to go. These tangs get 1.5' as adults.

never seen that tang before its nice wish i could afford it lol

Yep way to small of a tank for that tang, there some of the biggest

I have seen some that are 2-2.5 inches. Is that still too small? Also, are they ich prone? I have a blue star leopard wrasse an don't want to take a chance. I dont really believe in qt tanks either.

Edit: Sorry, i meant is my tank still too small for a 2-2.5 inch f tang

+1 on the Fowleri. They get big and require allot of swimming room.

Yes and no. Obviously your tank would be "big enough for a 2.5 inch tang", but it wont be that small for very long and would just stress the fish out. Plenty of gorgeous tangs available that will work in a 120 though.

I love this fish. They are my absolute favorite, after working in a fish store.... But they d need a good bit of room. A 120 wont cut it.
