Our foxface is a model citizen, unlike our puffer . The foxface loves to “host” our toadstools.

I'd say yes, I've got a Magnificent Foxface that does a good job on algae when I don't overfeed. He gave me a scare once when I saw him nipping a blasto but that seems to have been an isolated incidence, I'm just careful now to maintain a delicate balance between under and overfeeding.

I have a one spot foxface in my tank and is probably my favorite and smartest fish. Never seen him picking to any coral.

Never noticed mine pecking at corals. Not even rocks. He was supposed to be helping control algae, but he's a bum. Loves that nori tho and the momomomomomo face he makes while eating is endlessly entertaining to my daughter.
