Hi everyone,
Is there a list of the scientific names of the coral fragged at the meeting? I have one little guy and I don't know what he is. I figured others might be the same. It would be cool if we could do pictures and names. I'll post a picture of my mystery guy in a bit.

I'd be interested too. Regardless, what a treat to have these amazing guys in my tank. Thanks again!!

There were some great frags this year. I stlil have one that I don't remember the name of.

We really should label the cups--I wonder how many people got home and don't know what they have...

As one of the individuals that volunteered and was gluing/cupping, I think I can honestly say that there was no time to do that much labeling. I don't think anyone but the supplier knows exactly what the SPS colonies were.

Note to self, wear gloves next year.

A couple of years ago we initialed the cups--i.e. SM for Superman Monti, etc. It takes another volunteer.

Thanks for your help!

Here are some (camera phone) pictures of my new frags. The orange square is my mystery.

The other two I believe are:
Clavularia sp. "Green Clove Polyp" (the one in the rock)
Caulastrea (curvata ?) - Trumpet coral or Candy cane

I was told the orange one was some type of monti.

Hmm, let's see if I can help a bit:

Cataphyllia
Acanthastrea lordhowensis
Scolymia australis
Parazoanthus
Acropora
Montipora (encursting)
Caulastrea tumida
Favites pentagona

House is on now..add more later :)
