Frag question

Ok, so yesterday I got a lovely piece of Colt at the give away. When I got home, I made the little stand using a plastic toothpick and a frag plug. Now my problem is that when I slid the frag onto the toothpick the base of the colt doesn't touch the frag plug. Do I need to take him off, and trim the toothpick shorter? Or will he be ok kind of suspended above the base? Thanks

You will want it to make contact with the surface you want it to attach to. It will attach itself, the toothpick is just to pin it in place until it attaches.

You could always stick some live rock rubble under it. It should attach to that and may end up looking better than a frag plug.
