I have a green carpet anemone about 14 inches across that I thought about splitting. It's as big as a catchers mitt and works the same way. I have mysteriosly lost fish over the years. I will not try this myself but might possibly let an experienced person attempt this. What are your thoughts. Should I do this or maybe trade for a smaller one?

Thanks for responding. Yeh, I'm not too sure myself. I U-tubed it and watched some guy with his wifes cutting board and a steak knife quarter one over the sink and throw it back into the tank. Definately not going that route.

slice and dice works on all anemones, just have to watch the water quality more carefully and run carbon with the more delicate anemones.
