Fragging and may off got some in eye?

Was fagging a blue xenia and something splashed my face and may have got a drop in my eye. Should I be concerned? it has been a half an hr and I seem to be fine but I am concerned. Please advise if anyone can. Thx

I don't know any more than you I am sure but at the least, flush it well with fresh tap water. Although if it has been a 1/2 hour it may not be as good as if it had been immediately after.

The concern that a lot of people have is with zoa's, some types contain a Palythoa toxin, that combined with the fact the eye is very vascular would concern me more. Something else to consider is that our tanks are not very clean, there could be a lot of different type of bacteriogical infections that could happen. If you can still see search the site and see what sort of issues people have had.

If vision becomes blurry or you fell like you are having heart issues I would make a trip to the ER.

Thx everything was good! I did end u reading that Xenia's are not as toxic as Polys. From now on eye protection is a MUST!

I don't think that Xenia are toxic... I rip them off the rocks all the time, and they are basically water filled sacs.

Zoas in particular you need to watch out for.... I heard that they can cause temporary blindness if they get in your eyes.
