Fragging Questions

Some of my corals have grown too large and I'd like to frag them to make them smaller. To remove some of my elongated xenias, how do I get them off the rocks? I tried tugging at one and it came off, but left a basal portion attached to the rock. I have a big mushroom leather that I'd like to frag; do I simply slice it in half with a razor?

Any advice appreciated,

You have to scrape the xenia. Just slice parts off of the leather; they'll grow from a small slice. Scissors sork well (stainless) for the leather.

Just slice the mushroom with a razor and get part of the mouth on each piece. The xenias just sllice off.
