How long do you keep your newly cut ZOA frags in low flow to prevent the polyp from blowing off the plug?

I use super glue GEL... the key is in making sure that you use the right amount - not too much or too little... and its critical that you don't get any glue on the skirt - only the base of the polyp.. I use tweezers to place the polyp in the glue to make sure its exactly where i want it...

Loctite gel works great for me.
Are you cutting them off a plug or do they have rock on them ?

I use gel superglue doesnt matter what brand. A lil dab will do ya.

I've always use loctite super gel and never had a problem and ditto on the eye protection and gloves its some nasty stuff

Amen!!
That was a 10,000$ lesson I learned the hard way and 2 days in the ER

We'll I would say proper fragging should always contain some kind of substrate that the zoa was attached to. Either the rock or frag disk that came from the original frag. Then your almost guaranteed it's not going anywhere. But more then likely most people with out a frag saw are cutting or scraping more then they should. Just try and cut zoa with razor blade and break off the rock it's on then glue rock to plug.
