Friend or foe?

I have several what looks like sponges forming on my live rock. They are white and a couple have what looks like feeders coming off of them. Are they good or bad? Should I try to pick them off the rock?

2nd pic is a pineapple sponge. Completely harmless and they come and go.

thanks for response I have them on couple of rocks and was getting worried

The longer your tank runs healthy you will notice the increase on both of them, natural filter feeders.
