I have had a 2 headed frogspawn frag for about 3 weeks now, It has been healthy and fully open. I came home from work on monday and noticed it was had been knocked down to the sand. I it it back in its spot and it hasn't opened again. It would open about 6 mm and as of today it is fully retracted. All my water parameters are great. salinity 1.025, 0 ammonia, calcium 420, ph 8.4, alkalinity 13.2.

If it was knocked down, it's probably just a little angry . Wait a few days. Bit fwiw, you're alk is high for me. But everyone tank is different

John, 4-6 meq/L. OP is measuring in dKH. It's a tad bit high, should be 8-11 but that's probably not the issue.

What's your temperature?

I'm sorry if I'm wrong, and hope I am, but judging by the picture and how exposed the skeleton is, I'd say its dead or close to it.

Frogspawn is a hardy coral. Give it some time and keep your hands off of it to feel secure it will spawn out.

Any swings in temp? 79 is OK but if there are large fluctuations that could annoy it.

What's it doing now - any change?

I can see some of the polyps now. Maybe 2 or 3, but they are barely sticking their head out. Temp is usually at about 79-81 every time I checked it. Alkalinity has come down a little to 12.9 but calcium is now high at 490. I'm thinking I must go ahead and do a water change tonight?
