Fuge light problem

So I have had 150 watt incandescent bulb lighting my fuge temporiary till I could get a lower watt bulb. Well I did that today for a 60 watt bulb well now it is tripping the breaker when I plug it in. To me it seems weird that a lower wattage would cause that and a higher would not??

Any suggestions?

make sure the wire isnt in contact with water in any way, or any exposed wires. Start there.

Already did nothings exposed that I see and the bulb is intact.

Also this is a home depot kind with the metal reflector.

do you know the amps it is pulling?

No idea? But if I remember my physics watts =volts x amps. So amps=watts/volts if it's wattage is lower and the volts are the same then that means the amps are lower right??

I would suspect a faulty bulb. Does it trip the breaker as soon as it turns on?

There is no switch on the light but yes as soon as I plug it in the breaker pops. I'll try a new bulb in the am.

Yep, I would suspect the bulb
