What type of light do you you use???

I bought this 40 watt led for an algae fuge. If it doesn’t do the trick I’ll upgrade to a 90 watt. Fwiw, it’s too bright to stare at.

For one set of refugiums, I use two kessil H80s the flora ones, and for the other system I use 2 IM chaeto max refugiums lights.

I use an H380 - it's amazing!

I use h380 as well. My Ogo grow so well under it

i use a cheap $12 grow light from ebay and it works fine for my chaeto reactor

I use a cheap clip on light with a 6500k led bulb also from Walmart. No problems growing chaeto.

After i dumped a half gallon of saltwater water on my 100 dollar led fuge light i bought a cheap clip on bulb holder from lowes with a 9 watt plant bulb for like 15 bux. Never switched back cuz it works fine. I literally threw out a walmart bag full of chaeto this week

I have the AI Prime Fuge and a Kessil H160 Tuna Flora. If you have a large area to cover the AI prime is good. For me, I had to buy the 3D printed shades and the Prime still grows algae inside my protein skimmer one chamber over on my 90 gallon. I got the Kessil H160 and added a custom 3D printed shade to try to minimize the light scatter for my frag tank.
