fuge question

I am moving to a new sump in the basement and am enlarging my fuge. With a 4" sand bed is the depth of the tank important? I was going to use a 20 high but have a 30 long that would fit so which would be better? I am going to also put cheato in if that makes a diff.

+1 to the 30 long. Also, if your tank is over 100g, try and do at least 6" DSB if you can.

Yes this will be a dedicated fuge. I am guessing I will have between 175 and 200 gal of water running
