Genicanthus experiences

Anyone with experiences mixing Genicanthus ? Good or Bad

I have a Lamarck's. Solid citizen, chases my wrasse occasionally. Eats well.

Perfect for reef aquariums. They will not pick at corals or clams. Very pretty, very adaptable specimens. Bellus are my faves, but it's hard to come by a pair. Male swallowtails are hard to find too.

I love 'em all - they are great fish.

I was thinking about a watanabe pair and a swallowtail pair but my gut instinct says aggression.

I had a watanabie, and I want to get a pair again soon. He was a fantastic fish, never had one problem with him nipping at anything or being aggressive at all.

They do have a problem with swim bladder infections so be sure you QT and treat for it no matter what.

I believe our Tony has a Swallowtail male and 2 females. No issues.

Yes Dave. He had Watanabi pair for sure and I believe swallowtail pair.

Yup, I had a bellus quartet, a watanabe trio, and a caudovittatus trio all in the same aquarium. No issues.
