Getting rid of xenia

Might be due to the high alk. I run mine around 6-8 and it grows like mad. I have polyps on rocks and no idea how they got there.

Me too,it's a pain in the rear somtimes.

but he really wants to meet me at dave's house when i pick up my frags and give me a piece.

if he could get somewhere close to dave's in sandy springs then I could grab some for us and before I left I could bring and split for everyone

One of our more reputable reefers, Simon, has had luck with dosing vitamin C to kill off xenia. It is benefitial to the fish as it can help them fight off ich which is why he doses it. Incidentaly he found that the vit C made all the xenia melt away as well.

I am using Selcon on regular bases soaking my fish food - it had done nothing to my xenia...

Crush up one of those 500 mg vitamin C tablets and add to water. At least that's my understanding.
