Any idea how to get rid of them. I know there suppose to help with clean up,but is there anything that eats them. They are just plain ugly. Thanks in advance for any help

You could try a few things , if you get an obligate sponge eater (like a nudibranch), that 1) there is no guarantee it will eat your specific type of sponge, and perhaps more importantly 2) the animal will starve to death after its only food source is goen . (community pass around pest eater time perhaps)
Not sure your tank size so you could be limited to some of them , angels , most any eat spong , also dwarf angels but maybe not as aggressively , and will most likely eat corals.
Moorish idol don't always do good in captivity , but eat some sponges .
Pencil urchins eat sponge , as well as nudi branch , and iv read sea slug will eat it , also a few starfish that's names escape me at the moment , but most these guys aren't reef safe .
Spong are great filter feeding extremely simple inverts , some people say that there presence
it is often a sign of a nutrient issue , I don't know how much weight that carries but it could be an area to look at.
I think the biggest issue is finding the perfect match of creatures to the sponges they eat .
Best of luck friend.

Where can I find out any information on them. They don't seem to be harming anything. I just don't like the look of them.as far as a nutrient problem all water parameters are great. I did remove gfo reactor about 2 months back ,maybe that's the reason they have shown up lately

blow some air into them, it will block their channels and they will starve. I would be careful about them decaying in your tank though. It probably wont kill the whole sponge, but will diminish its size.

I have no experience here, I kinda like my sponges and they are amazing filter feeders. But perhaps H2O2 mixed 50/50 with tank water for a short dip or squirt it on the affected area.
