gfo reactor question...

hello all,

I have been running gfo for over a year now and this is the first time I have seen this so bear with me... I run it in a two little fish reactor and for the first time it is turning the plastic on the inside of the reactor a milky color. I had low ph for a couple days but other than that everything seems to be in normal parameters. ph is now at 8.3 Any ideas???

Edit: forgot to mention. cleaned reactor and added new gfo about a week ago

what did you clean it with and what brand gfo. also what are your calcium and mag levels

I just threw out the old and added new. the gfo is BRS
