Hello all! I am new to the site. I am in the research stage and am finding this site extremley helpful. I am also impressed with some of these large scale projects I have seen in the DIY forum. I have past experiance with ciclids in a 75 gal and some smaller freshwater stuff before that. I have been wanting to do a saltwater for years. I now have the gumption and have devised a plan for tank, and sump location. Now... here's the the first of many questions that will be coming over the next months. I plan on converting and using my old 75 gal glass tank for my sump. Where can I find a set of plans for doing this? I have looked through Melevs site but there are no specifics. Does anyone know of a specific layout I can follow? I would like to think I have enough room for a refugium in this 75 as well. My display is a 112 gal (odd size) acrylic I picked up cheap a number of years ago. The filtration will be in the mechanical room behind the display. I also have an acrylic sump that came with it. Should I use it in any way? Or should I try to sell it to help fund the rest? Let me know what y'all think. And thanks a lot!

First, let me say welcome!

I'm watching the BCS game, so I will check back later

FWIW- A lot of people and resources on here, as you are discovering, to you help you. Just ask.
