Goby Sex

Now that I have your attention, I have a question.

Are gobies able to change sex the same way clowns, anthias, and other types of fish do? I ask because I have a fairly strict stock list for my tank and need to know if I would be able to house two of the same type of goby with hopes of them pairing, regardless of what sex they are. Most of the gobies I want I've seen paired on LiveAquaria's Diver's Den, but would rather buy local if I can.

Also, I'm mainly referring to the smaller gobies, like your cleaner-, engineer-, and green banded-types, as well as shrimp gobies. Not worried as much about the watchman- and sleeper-type gobies.

I'm pretty sure some are able to, as I seem to remember reading about a study done (either at GA State or GA Tech) about sex changing gobies, and I believe the test subjects were Catalina Gobies. Just not sure if my memory fails me, or if it would apply to all types of gobies.

Thanks!
