I have googled (images) trying to find what I have growing in my tank. It looks like a green version of coralline algae if that makes sense and hard to scrape off. Images turned up zero results.

The Corallineon the PH is from the privious owner and not from my tank

Nothing major has changed in tank with the exception of a fire fish that got hot feet and jump to his death. water changed every two weeks, lights on same schedual (11 hour), bulbs about 5 months old or less.

Thanks for looking and any assistance.

Looks like green coralline to me. It may not be as common in our reeftanks as the purple varieties but it's pretty common in the ocean.

Yep. Scrape it off your viewing areas and make sure to clean (vinegar soak) pumps from time to time so it doesn't impede their function, but other than that, it's a good thing.
