These two corals are dying in my tank, everything else is thriving. My sg is 1.025 nitrates ammonia and nitrites all 0. Any idea why? I have them in a 38g with 4x39 watt t5's

Just happens sometimes...appears your conditions are ok. Did they fall over and touch anything? I have found if they are large enough and not too dead you can possibly save by fragging it. Make sure the pieces you save are far from the receding line otherwise they will die too.

what do they look like? how are you defining dying? what is your calc/mg/alk/ph?

are they tan or bleached white? tan can be fixed, white cannot...

don't take this the wrong way, but you are asking for help and really giving us no information. this would be the same as someone going on a car forum and saying,"my car won't start." there could be a variety of reasons, but without more info you really aren't going to get an answer that is more than a guess.

Every test I have was normal, ph, calcium, alkilinity, nitrates, nitrites, ammonia, thebonly one I don't have a test for right now is magnesium, nothing touched the corals, they are high in the tank with plenty if light, some different birds nest, mushrooms, and chalice are all thriving and growing quickly

what type of tests are you using? what is normal? what type of bulbs do you have? what sort of flow do you have? i wouldn't think that everything is ok just b/c mushrooms and birdsnest are doing well, i've been trying to rid my tank of mushrooms and birdsnest and they keep coming back!

API tests, mag 7 with flow diverted to the fuge, two korlia 1's two 10k bulbs one blue and one purple. As far as actual numbers I will have to retest tonight

IME corals will turn brown when they are not getting enough light or nutrients and flow to a lesser extent.

t5's should be fine for a green slimer and monti, how old are the bulbs? i ran t5's with sps for about 3 years before upgrading to overdriven t5's.

You may wish to invest in some new test kits. API is not one of the most dependable out there.

Have you examined closely for any parasites? That is a possibility. Also check your salinity...you never know.
