I have a lot of green slimmer. Got it from Purple Gorilla. It has grown like crazy. I had a frag rack over a few pieces and noticed it was turning a little grey looking. Thought maybe it wasn't getting enough light so just took the frag rack out of the tank. (I have a pistol shrimp and its hard to put anything on the sandbed cause he thinks its his!!! )

I just noticed though on the other side of the tank I have a huge colony and it looks in places a little grey.

It is a grey color. not white , grey.

My parameters are all good.. I have a hard time keeping calcium up cause I have a lot of sps and I guess it uses it?

any ideas?

Is it grey like receding tissue or just loss of color? There will always be a part of the branch that doesn't face the light and that will have a very dull color. Low calcium below 350 could lead to receding tissue.

you should post all your parems including nitrates & phosphates from kits that measure low range only....ALK? MAG? Cal? Salinity? Temp?
