I've been in the hobby for about 15 years but haven't had my tank setup for 3. Just relocated here from Delaware by my employer. Easing back into the hobby with one of those Fluval EVO 5 setups. Was considering the AI Prime for lighting but I might just try the light that comes with the unit to see where it takes me.

I also considered the IM Fusion 10 with the AI Prime but I'm not sure if the office will allowed the extra 5 gallons.

Anyone with experience using either tank? Wanting to keep with simple with softies and some basic SPS. Thanks!

Welcome back into the hobby. Its always great to have more members who are very experienced in our hobby. Make sure you take lots of pictures and create a build thread. :)

Hello Herdy and welcome to the South and our forum! I personally have not had any experience with the tanks you are considering but believe that you are on the right path for a tank that you can easily maintain in the office. The AI Prime would be a good selection for either tank for your lighting needs. I am an radion fan but have seen the AI prime units used in friends systems and they work! Good luck and better reefing!

Yes, I agree, that is a very nice Nuvo 10.

My Nuvo 10 is a simple, low maintenance softy tank. It's been setup over 2yrs, no dosing, monthly water change, stock light. I occasionally have to trim back the xenia and gsp. The only fish is a quite tame yellow banded possum wrasse I've had for over a year.

Wow great looking tanks and thanks for all of the kind responses. I think I'm swaying towards the Fusion now and will update once I get everything running.

Thanks!
