Growout on SC My Miami, Crazy Fox, Convict, and Flash

Don't ever see any Growouts, so unsure if this is ok.. please advise if not..

not sure if I can do direct links to other forums and sites so i will abbreviate )

on r2r, SC has a "live" sale thread. He has up a chalice pack for $550 shipped which includes:

My Miami
Crazy Fox
SC Convict
SC Flash
+ maybe freebies..

I just wanted to see if anyone else wants to split it? I would want no more than 4 people (including me) for the buy in so it does not take forever, and no less than 3 so it is affordable for everyone..

4 people is $137.50 per person
3 people is $183.33 per person

You would paypal me and I would paypal SC the total once we confirm # of participants. Chalices do well for me so I could be grower, but would like to eventually get at least one to someone else (maybe MM since I already have one) to grow just in case of catastrophe.. I would have no problem if the group voted to have someone else grow them though.

I suggest we wait until each chalice has the same # of eyes (and in a fraggable position)as the # of people in growout before we cut.

grower takes pics at least 1-2 times a month of progress.


worst case - everything dies... either we:
A. consider it a gamble and go on with life with each of us loosing our $
B. the grower offers something value comparable (other frags) to make up for the $..

ehh.. I usually come up to atl at least 1-2 times a month.
I am on exit 193 - Johnstonville rd if you want to mapquest.

Just figured it is a good opportunity to maybe get some nice LE coral at a cheap price.. I am surprised the pack has lasted this long at that price. I am sure he would through in a freebie or two as well. He also said 2 of them would be "big hunks", which should reduce the growout time.

I did the exact same thing with another member last year, it is a great way to get the coral you want for alot less. I kept 3 and he kept 3 for growout. We never did get a chance to swap since he got out of the hobby but I still got the 3 peices I wanted at a reduced rate.

I travel to Forsyth quite frequently to the training center there. If there are three in for sure then I'm in too for a forth.
