There is a couple of different modes available on the Gyre. I have mine running in pulse mode with a 2 second delay. I can't really comment on running it in constant flow mode and its effectiveness. The "Gyre mode" (reverse flow) is useless. Apparently they will be offering an advanced controller during the 1st quarter that will allow modes similar to the Vortech's. But, as for now it's limited in flow options.
