Hammer coral assistance

I have been trying to keep hammer in my nano for a few months now. My brother has hammer growing like weeds in his tank and has given me a few heads for mine. When I acclimate them they are happy. I place them in the tank, still happy. I have awoke to the hammer being on the bottom of the tank upside down from a snail or crab knocking it over every time I put it in the tank. This go around I thought I had it pretty secure but it still got knocked over. So I used some reef epoxy and stuck it to the rocks. Well ever since it will not open and acts like its going to die off. I have it mid level in the tank, plenty of light, water flow is good. Im not sure what I can do to make it happy again.

How long has it been epoxyed to the rock? couple of hours, days, weeks? I would just wait it out, and check if your parameters are good and see what happens.

Been epoxied for about 24 hours now. I have been checking the parameters every 3 days. I am going to try separating 2 of the heads and moving them lower in the tank. See how they react. Also divert a little flow away from them

I wouldn't really split them if they are still stressed from being in the sandbed. Just wait, maybe direct less flow at them, and hope that it pulls through. Moving it constantly is just going to make it worse and more unhappy. My frogspawn took at least 3 days until getting used to my tank, first day being shriveled, second day coming out a little bit, and third day it was fully open. Now he was never in the sand overnight, so it might take a little longer for yours.
