Can I get an ID on this yellow growth on the stalk of my hammer coral? It almost looks "foamy". Before I noticed it I had one head break off like a branch of a bradford pear tree. I was able to frag it and it seems to be doing fine, but the yellow stuff seems to be spreading. This picture was taken when my blues first came on this morning so the coral isn't fully extended yet, but when it does it looks very health otherwise.

This wouldn't be the cause of the breakoff of the head though correct? Is it normal for hammer's to drop of heads? It didn't "melt" like I've read regarding others. It seems to have just broke off.
