Hardiest Fish?

I've had a false perc. w/ me from the getgo. He's been through several tank moves/upgrades, and is still kickin'. He's been w/ me for over 2 years now. My asfur seems to be pretty hardy too, but I don't stress him like I did the clown b/c his home is permanent (no more planned moves/upgrades).

I haven't had luck with royal grammas-1 spot of ick (wham!) dead as a doornail nor chromis-they don't live 24 hours in my tank. Except 1 bugger who is quick on the draw.

Good call on Firefish and false clowns from my experience at least.

The hardiest fish I have ever owned is my maroon clown female. I've had her forever and I couldn't kill her if I tried... and I have... Can't catch her either :sad:. She's here to stay it seems.

+1 for maroon clown. We have a gold striped maroon that came with tank setup. Poor girl has been through tank moves and god knows what else. Packs a mean little punch too! Pretty aggressive though. Might not want it to be the first fish you add to a tank. They can get pretty big too.

Why does everyoen have luck with clowns. I'm on my 7th one b4 I had any luck. And this one isn't really mine...
