After a lot of reading and thought in it , iv decide I really want one of these , I enjoy the spot feeding I give my nems and lps so I don't mind the extra needed feeding time .
I went to the fish store today and discussed them a bit and they are trying to get me one so I'd like to hear some first hand experience or thoughts on them.
What type of flow did it prefer , how often was it open , whatever you can share Thanks -Terry

I keep mine on the bottom sand bed with medium flow and they are very happy. It's always open at night with the blues on ad a lot of times they are open during the day.
It is fun to spot feed them, they close up into a huge ball. Then again I've got a bad habit of over feeding!
Bite the bullet, there beautiful!

Dendros are generally hardy and relatively easy o keep. Before you make a purchase, you might want to try and get its feeding tentacles out (better if you buy one that has it out already). Prolong closed up dendros usually mean stressed and/or unhealthy.

I keep my dendros on the sand bed and medium flow. They are NPS so they don't need lighting. Food: mysis, cyclop-eeze (frozen bar), etc.

Personally, I prefer the fathead dendros......purple-based if you're fortunate enough to find one.
