Even though it's teethless and nonbinding, this is the furthest and strongest ban to date. Keep this issue on the radar, it doesn't seem as if this is going away anytime soon.

Yep. Looks like the anti-aquarium trade folks have been able to crack the door open for further legislation. :sad:
We do need to stay on top of this issue and present logical factual data rather than let the decision makers get swayed by opinions and emotions. The newspaper article that ReefBuilders referenced showed that only 16 were against the proposal and over 100 were for it. AND that's what the council saw and swayed them; <u>Not</u> the facts from the Hawiian govt fish and game representatives. :doh:
