I purchased a Hawaiian Lace sea star 6-7 months back. They're definitely 100% reef safe, but I have not been able to find anything</em> that this guy will eat. He wont touch meaty foods, nor algae preparations. It looks like his strength is starting to fade, so I need to figure out what to feed him.

I know a few of you ARC'ers purchased this same species. Have you guys had any luck getting them to feed? Please, someone help me!!

Maybe try finding some fresh sponges from a LFS....might even be able to get them to let you scrape them off some of their LR....if you could maybe start propogated sponges in your tank that may help.....

could maybe get some frozen cubes for angelfish as well....i think those have a good amount of sponge in them...

+1. You can partially unthaw the gel based cubes and stick them to the glass at night for it. Daytime the cube would be a gonner. Everything enjoys it in my tank
