Heater

i would get 4- 200w or 3- 300w heaters or some sort of variance of that... i say multiple ones because you could have a heater stop working and then your tank would get cold... instead you have multiple high watts heaters that could sustain it till you get another one.

Thats what I would do with a tank that large IMO. And I have two 100w heaters and 1 50w heater in my 40breeder... well i take that back I took one out for my saltwater make up as 3 heaters kept mine to hot but ambient air temp only differed about 10* at least.

well on that note i saw this name brand heater...was thinking about getting 2, 300 watt heaters instead of the single 1000 watt

I am in the same situation currently. I'm looking for a heater that could just be controlled by my AC3. I liked the older ones similar to the JBJ ones that were made by Aqua Medic, Bio Therm. But they're no longer manufactured. That one sounds great and I had looked at it, but I hate to drop $200 on a heater.

The local sponsors should be able to get you guys heaters that can be controlled by any controller . If they can't then I will provide you with a link where you can get them.

I use a 800 watt FINNEX in my main tank. The other brand I can't mention due to tar and feather mobs.:)

Have you had any issues with the Finnex? I have read a few different opinions, but would still like to hear yours. Which other do you use? Feel free to PM me if you'd rather not say to the general population. I promise not to tar and feather you. :D
