Hello, new to the forum, I live up near Athens, in Winder.
I have been sporting a used 29 gal Biocube for about 10 years now. The size is perfect for my living room and I like that the furniture it is sitting on is only 2 feet-ish high. Perfect for watching it while in my easy chair.
Over the years I have ripped out the original lights and installed a Red Sea LED on top, dilled the back and installed a 20 gal sump/refugium. And I just recently installed an Apex. It has helped allot with me actually seeing what is going on. For example I didn't realize I was "freezing" my fish. Poor guys, After calibrating the Apex sensor, I can tell a huge difference when I touch the glass or put my hand in the tank.
I love all the saltwater inverts. They remind me of when I lived in Key West for five years. The snorkeling was great. Some day I would like to learn scuba diving.
Glad to finally be a part of the ARC.
John
