Help ID please

I noticed these yesterday and now I see hundreds of them, some are tiny largest less than a 1/4". They seem to be eating the algae on the glass, but not sure.

And I'm guessing I need to get rid of them so how would I go about doing that?

All that is in the tank is some button polyps and 2 green chromis.
