Help my Yellow tang has Ich

What is the safest way the kill ich in yellow tang in my DT. This is a reef tank so I can't use copper. I tried to catch him but I am not having any luck. Any advice would by appreciated.

Catch and qt or try to feed metro and focus.

+1 to Metronidazole and Focus. You can also add garlic extract to encourage feeding and hiding the taste of the meds. Cleaner Shrimps are also nice to have in any reef to help out if you don't have them already.

I caught mine with a homemade trap out of a 2 liter with some seaweed in the bottom. took about 30 mins.

Just on the little guy this morning and he looked wonderful. No white spots. I will medicate him today and monitor to over the next couple of days.

Its comes and goes. people often get mistaken and stop treating after the Visible signs go away. Treat for over a month .
