HELP!! Noisy AGA overflow

There is a drain system that is totally silent but it requires at least three drain pipes. It can be done in an AGA typr tank with two overflow boxes but you will have to sacrifice one of the return lines which is usually no big deal. A throttling back of one of the drains is required as well.

are you talking about bean animal's method?

build one out of standard pvc, one for each drain hole. Works like a charm!!!

OP already has a Durso-style drain pipe - manufactured by AGA as part of their kit.

Why start all over when a simple 2-minute fix will resolve the problem?

Not sure what that is. I use this method on several large wholesale tanks.
Is that the same beananimal on RC?

Thats correct. The AGA standpipe that I have looks identical to durso. I am going to try widening the hole today.

I have a single 1" durso-type drain rated for 700gph, so I'm sure two would be sufficient...
