Help Please

I have posted a few times here with different ideas. Mainly 40g breeder with hob skimmer and a 60g cube with sump. The 60g only blocks half of my air return if I push it all the way up againts my entertainment stand. If you were in my shoes what would tanks and setups would you look at?

The pic is of my 29g FW with DIY stand that is 15" deep by 43"

I wouldn't block off the return air. Maybe if the stand is a certain number of inches away from it... Does it have to be up against the wall?

yeaht thats what im trying to avoid. it can be a few inches off.
