So, had a little insomnia last night and it turned out to be a good thing.
I have a 5 stage system, plumbed under my kitchen sink with a drinking faucet and 3 gallon water storage kit. Have been running the system for several years.
At around 3 am I heard a little pop and a small gushing sound and ran from the living room to see water spewing from the under sink cabinet. Popped it open, saw water spewing from the first stage canister housing. Quickly turned off the water source and mopped up the water.....luckily, no major deal since I caught it - it would have kept flooding my home.
What would you do now? I have no confidence in the system. Should I break it down, set it up again? Maybe just reduce the flow a little to avert excess pressure? Or, replace?
