When I got up this morning she was laying on the bottom of the tank and not moving. She has some kind of white stuff on her (I cant get any pics camera is broken). She is still alive but barely. I put her in the QT tank and all she will do is lay there. Any ideas or suggustions?

Just took my water to my lfs and they called and said every thing was good nothing to worry about. That is as far as the water goes. The stuff on her kind of looks like when you are sun burned and the skin peels off but if you touch it it desolves.

Would certainly want to know more about your water params as well..I cant just go by the lfs said it was good..Good is changed by everyone opinions

Not sure of the exact numbers they just called while I was at work. I will be going by there after work to check the exact #'s. They said they didn't want me to worry.lol.

Check out these links on Marine Velvet also... in advanced stages the fish can appear to have a white film on the skin. There is a good article in Reef Keeping and some info from Wet Web Media:

The extent of your fish seems pretty bad. I would look into some pictures online to figure out what exactly it is and get back to us. There is a product out there for whatever your fish has we just need to figure out what that is exactly.

Sorry to say but she was dead when I got home. The white film was gone and she looked ok other than her not breathing. But I will keep looking until I find something that looks like it. Thanks every one for the help.

Now I have another problem. I have a clam and just noticed it has two holes in its side. I hope to get the camera working tonight. Any ideas if this can be related?
