Hi we just recently got a carpet anemone and it has been doing fine. But today it has not even blown up any.
This carpet is huge it takes up the whole corner of my 55g tank and today is went back in all the way I need help savings it right away.
Any suggestions will help.
I will try and upload a pic asap.

Edit:

Possibly its just pooping or ticked off , what makes you think something is wrong ? Is it only because its drawn up .
Have there been and salinity or perimeter swings ?

It just went through a tank breakdown and moved to a new tank. I'm sure it's pretty stressed.

Seen this happen with a large carpet before after acclimation. Took 2 days to die. One of the worst smells

it was doing fine and today it hasnt opened at all..
we did move some rocks in the tank and treated the tank w aiptasia we did turn all the pumps and the power head off.
I just check the sanality is about .19 i know i have to bring it up now.

Edit: if u can plz call or txt me @ 678-780-6450

Edit: here is one more pic

It looks ok to me I it's not even closed up all the way. The one that was in the tank you bought before this one closed up before it died, this one is still open just shrunk down.

What was the salinity at in the tank before the move?? If it was around 1.025 and dropped to 1.019 that is bad. But you have to bring it up slowly now.
Don't raise it more than .002-.003 a day.

I'm not an expert but I think 2 big swings is way worse than a big swing down and going back up slowly- I know that's true for the clownfish. It's usually going up too say that kills fish. Mine took a huge swing down when I fell asleep with the top off running and they are fine- all the corals died though.

Still coming up slowly with the fish

Edit: here is a carpet on it's way out

yours doesn't look that bad yet. It's definitely ticked off from the swing though
