I bought this coral (Nepthia) about 2 yrs ago and its been growing alot...I have never fragged it or anything like it before. Is the "branch" in the second picture, which is twisted and pointing downward, too big to cut off? Whats the best way to get it to attach to a plug? Thanks.

You can cut it foo with a razor blade and get a rubber bank and use that to attach it to the plug by wrapping the band around the stalk and plug....in a few days it will attach on it's own and then you can remove rubber band

Good advice.

I turn my pumps off and then use a pair of small stainless steel scissors to cut the frag I want. I usually stuff the end of the frag into a empty snail shell and place it in a low flow area for a couple days, by then it'll have attached and you can put it anywhere you want.

rostato gave me some advice on attaching xenia, cut a small piece of plastic screening and rubber band it to a rock and put the xenia under the screen. It will grow through the screen, and then you can cut it away. It kinda looks similar

Careful not to make the rubberband too tight - it will cut through the flesh!
