Hi folks. I have / had a very bright neon green toadstool. It is about the size of a softball. Anyway I decided to frag it (I have fragged other toadstools successfully) so I took a new razor blade and just cut about a 2in piece off. I knew it would be "upset" but that was 4+ weeks ago. Since the fragging the mother and frag have not had their polyps to extend at all. I can see the neon green tiny nubs barely breaking the surface of the toadstool but they will not extend. Any thoughts?

I expected it to stay closed for a few days but not this long. I know it is not dead as it will push the tentacles out a tiny bit.- Messages

just give him time, you can grow those things in toilets...lol I doubt you'll kill it.
yup, mine was ticked forever! I finally moved it to higher flow and a totally diff tank and it is fine..
