I believe these are rhodactis Mushrooms, but the have been shriveled for a month or so now.
Can anyone explain why they might be doing this?
Thanks in advance!!

Need that pic
Thanks!! Im gonna try putting them in a spot with no direct light and see what that does. they are currently in a low flow area with no direct flow. Also need to do a water change; I feel like thats a good solution to most of the problems that arise. You're correct that they are rhodactis. It could be a few different things... The first thing I'd do is a water change and see if that helps at all. Also put them in a more shaded area. They could be getting too much light although I do see that they are on the sandbed... Some shrooms like neglectus actually prefer shade... It could also be a flow issue. They enjoy flow but too much direct flow can cause them to look like that as well. Another thing to consider is running more activated carbon particularly if you have yumas in the tank as well... which can release toxins that rhodactis are sensitive to. Finally, don't stress to much they are very hardy in my experience and have a good chance of recovery.
They are at the bottom of the 18" tank with the AI prime HD being at about 60% intensity for the grow period. But yeah I think ill try moving them to a no direct light area and see how they do.How much light are they getting? I've found these to be pretty hardy but they'll shrivel up if they're getting too much light or flow. When this happens in my tank, I typically move them to a shaded area and see if they'll recover. Typically they do and then you'll notice them "reaching" for more light and can move them out some.
Note: If you have LED lights, don't assume that the sandbed is the weakest as far as light intensity goes. I have a specific 4x4" square on my sandbed that gets more striaght PAR than the rocks at the top of my tank. Seriously. I think it has something to do with the "cone of light" that each fixture puts off crossing at a certain point but I'm not positive. I just know that I was surprised with some of the PAR meter results I got.
