My Purple tang has a hole in his dorsal fin now. I don't know where it is from, but i walked into the room and saw that there is a hole about the size of a earbud in his fin! It's probably either from the Kole Tang using his scalpal or a trigger bitting it.. Is there anything i can do???

i would atleast get it out purple tangs cost to much to be killed
watch the tank and see if you can see who is picking on him and remove it
and if you need a place for the purple tang to stay . i have a good tank lololol

Is there anything I could do to help? I turned all the lights off on the room.

All fish in our care deserve NOT to be killed. Cost should not matter.

Well, as of now he is eating, and swimming fine. A bit skittish but of course i probably would be too. If he gets any worse, i'll be putting him in a seperate tank.

well thats not what i was getting at (but might happen if its getting bullied around) i did say remove him and cost dose matter when you work to buy them and something kills them

You might not be able to avoid injuries with two tangs and a trigger in a 75. Do you plan on upgrading to a larger tank in the future?

Nope, but I am converting to thee reef, so I guess i'll have to find the trigger new homes :/ Don't want the nitrates killing coral.

I know it either the trigger or eel, both of which is going to be removed soon. He is eating Nori, NLS pellets, and formula two flakes. Is that enough?

Yeah, i don't feed them often, but when i do they seem to like them. They just seem to be annoying and not all of it gets eaten.

Yeah, i kinda feel dumb though. I've been using the pellets without garlic, but friday i picked up some 2mm NLS+ with garlic, and now my fish meet me at the corner of my tank for food. :o!

Six lines are known to be aggressive. Why do people get them then get upset when they behave in a 'less-than-nice' way ?
